Blind and Low Vision Services (NZ)
Special Education Resource Unit
South Australian School for Vision Impaired (SASVI) is a state wide service with the following components:
South Australian School for Vision Impaired - Is a shared site with Kilparrin and Ascot Park PS (mainly catering for Primary students, but also accommodates secondary students with addition disabilities).
Charles Campbell Secondary School Vision Support Program - Students work within the regular Charles Campbell Secondary School (CCSS) program, with additional support negotiated individually. Teachers from SASVI work as support teachers of students with vision impairment at CCSS.
Seaview High Vision Support Program - Students work within the regular Seaview High (SH) program, with additional support negotiated individually. Teachers from SASVI work as support teachers of students with vision impairment at SH.
SASVI Support Services - Supports students in mainstream pre-schools and schools throughout the state, in DECS, Catholic Education and Independent Systems.
Print Alternative Program - Provides materials in Braille, large print, audio/MP3, and tactile formats to students' pre-school to end of school.
